Angiogenesis

For this project, we were tasked with creating an illustration for print demonstrating the process of angiogenesis, the formation of new blood capillaries. We were given examples of angiogensis illustrations in various journal articles and our job was to create an illustration that better showed the process. We then had to create an accompanying animation as well.

I started with an idea closer to the example journal article illustration with six different frames. I realized during the process though that creating one scene would be a more dynamic, easy to follow, and simplified way of representing the process.
